The Last 5 Months

Let's see...Life has been crazy. I got a job teaching Kindergarten and love it! They are so much work but so rewarding! Brandon is still with VLCM and doing really well. Looks like we may be here for a little while longer waiting to get experience and until something else comes up.

While living with my Uncle Dave and Aunt Rachel we taught CTR 6. This was our adorable class.

This picture is mostly for me. I started working out in March and wasn't losing any weight. Look in the pictures later in August and I have now lost 15 pounds! Wahooo!

Before

We got this side table for free at a yard sale. I decided I wanted to refinish it so with Brandon's help we completely overhauled it. It looks soooo much better!

After

To lose weight I walked the boulevard (3 miles each day in the summer and did Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred.) This was the gorgeous view I had every morning.

My sister (Hillary) is a Freshman at BYU-I and comes to visit often. She came down for Conference this October. Lots of fun.

In April we bought our 2011 Scion XB. This is after it's first oil change. We absolutely love it!

Halloween pumpkin carving.

Mine (Mike Wazowsky), Brandon (Frankenstein)

This is hilarious. We got a new camera in Juneish and this was the first time we'd used delay on it. When we use delay it takes 3 pictures right after each other. We took out picture, it went again when we thought it was done and by the 3rd we couldn't stop laughing. Awesome how it captures our faces!

Surprise #2

Happy Halloween! So that's the last 5 months in a nutshell. We're now living in Magna (west of Salt Lake) and not loving Magna as much as we'd like. Life is good and we are so thankful for our awesome jobs and amazing friends and family.

What I've Been Waiting For

As many already know I got a job! I will be teaching as a full time teacher starting this August at Excelsior Academy (a charter school) in Erda, UT. I will be teaching Kindergarten and I am so excited about it! Thank you for all the prayers and support you've given me as I've gone through the search! We are so blessed! This is a picture of the school...and me at it.

House/ Dog Sitters

A family in our ward asked us to house/ dog sit for them for about a month in June. Brandon did a week of it while I was gone. We dog sat two cockapoos. They're pretty quirky but overall adorable. It was nice to have our own space for a while and to get to walk dogs often.
Here I am with Pele

Sawyer. They sit so funny on top of the chairs.

And to answer the lingering question you may have. No dogs for us! They're cute but much like other people's babies easier to hand back when you get sick of them! haha

Home!

I was able to fly home for my sister's graduation in June. She is #2 to graduate! It was a great trip home! So glad I was able to go! Just not long enough! Hanna and I had a make up photo shoot. She ended up looking a lot like Kesha. haha. I attempted to look like a teacher but the body I currently have looks good in very little. ugh!

I spy Hillary...

Grandpa and Grandma Hunsaker

Country Grandparents

City Grandparents

The graduate!

Pretty cool photo I thought.

Red Butte Gardens

Ok I've been really lazy and have not caught up on blogging. So here we go back in time to May... We went to the Red Butte Gardens at the U of U campus. Absolutely gorgeous!

I have never seen a lilac like this. I love it!

There are lots of places to hike around there.

Cute turtle

We found a sign all about us.

Moose!

One of our favorite places was the kid area. They had a pond, cute furniture and lots of cool plants!

Awesome fountain

Flower bed haha

Cake!

This plant looks like an elephant

It was a fun day. We wished we had packed a lunch because you could seriously spend all day there.
